Hi! I’m Amy, and this is officially my first blog post. If you’ve stumbled across this page, thank you for being here. Starting a blog is something I’ve wanted to do for years, and it finally feels like the right time to create a space where I can share the things I love: photography, daily life, fashion, interior styling, pets, and all the small, pretty moments in between.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved documenting life. Sometimes it’s the aesthetic angle of my morning coffee, sometimes it’s my dog looking impossibly cute on a walk, and other times it’s the quiet moments at home that make life feel soft and meaningful. I’m still new to photography, I only recently upgraded my gear and started learning properly, but its been such a fun experience learning to flex my creative muscles and I’ve fallen completely in love with capturing simple everyday beauty.
Outside of content creation, my life is pretty full and fun. I’m a vet, a dog mum, a newlywed, a hobby gardener, and a self-confessed lover of cozy interiors. I enjoy styling my home, putting together neutral aesthetic outfits, testing new creative ideas, and sharing little bits of my world online. My husband Aaron and I have a very spoiled dog who makes frequent appearances both in my camera roll and in my content, so if you’re a pet parent, you’ll feel right at home here.
This blog is a place for me to grow as a creator, share what I learn, and hopefully inspire you along the way. I’ll be posting photography ideas, lifestyle posts, behind-the-scenes creator content, Pinterest-friendly guides, and maybe even some gardening updates from my tiny backyard jungle.
I’m excited (and slightly nervous) to finally start this journey, but more than anything, I’m grateful you’re here reading this. I hope “byAmy” becomes a space you enjoy visiting for soft, aesthetic inspiration and real-life moments.
